Every year, the Niwot Community Association helps Niwot celebrate its heritage and pays tribute to everyone and everything that makes Niwot a great place to live and play - don't miss the fun!
Daytime Festivities
7:30 am: Pancake Breakfast at Niwot Market - Cottonwood Sq. Shopping Center
9 - 10 am: Concert at the breakfast by Niwot Community Semi-Marching Free Grange Band
10 am: Niwot Shops Open in Old Town and Cottonwood Sq. Shopping Center
10 am - 2 pm: Niwot's Cruisin' Classics Car Show - west side of Murray St. - sponsored by the Rotary Club of Niwot - Trophy awards for winners across Multiple Classes. Special Gifts for the first 75 cars registered pre-event. BBQ, food & beer. Registration is $20 pre-event, $25 day of event. Move in 7 am - 10 am. Judging starts at 10:30 am - Awards at 1:30 am. 11 am - 10:00 pm - Food, Drink & Vendors Booths open on 2nd Avenue
2:00 pm: 5 Buck Duck Race at Niwot Road and Sawtooth Lane (proceeds from the Duck Race will benefit the Niwot Children's Park.) Sponsored by the Left Hand Valley Courier. More info: lhvc.com
3:30 - 5 pm: Wild West Parade starting at 2nd Ave. and Murray St., east on 2nd Ave., onto Niwot Rd. to Cottonwood Sq. Shopping Center. Grand Marsalls this year will be Carrie & Tim Wise, celebrating 25 years in business in Niwot while actively contributing and organizing many community projects.
Evening Activities
5 - 7 pm: Activities in the Grange coordinated by the Niwot Historical Society. The Boulder History Museum will have a presentation from their current exhibit on Chief Niwot, Legend and Legacy. Margaret Coel's book, Chief Left Hand will be on sale and Anne Dyni will have her historic Niwot books available for sale.
5 – 7 pm: Entertainment on the stage at the west end of 2nd Avenue
7 - 10 pm: Jockamo will entertain on the stage at the west end of 2nd Avenue - enjoy the sounds of Bluesiana! Jockamoband.com
Eco Friendly event: Vendors will target Zero Waste and walking/biking/carpooling is encouraged.
